Selling your Panama Real Estate Through

Flat Fee Realty

When you've made the decision to sell your Panama real estate, you have two major goals in mind.

It doesn't matter if your home is located on the beaches of Panama, if you reside in Panama City, or if you own mountain real estate in the Republic of Panama, your goal is the same: Get the best possible price and do it quickly.

So how should you go about making this happen?

Up until now you've had two choices: You could either list with a traditional broker who would charge you 5% of the eventual selling price, or you could try to sell on your own.

And sometimes, when you hired a traditional broker you couldn't tell much difference between having an agent and doing it on your own. That's what happened to me, and what prompted me to enter the field of real estate.

Market value comparisons are based on homes sold with conventional percentage commissions (5%) and a flat fee, respectively. Thus when you sell the home for $525,000 your net proceeds will be $500,000 because a 5% commission was included in price of the home.

But when you sell through Flat Fee Realty, you won't be paying that 5% commission. Instead, you'll pay a low flat fee. That gives you the option to list at the real market value or even below market value - making your home far more attractive to buyers and probably resulting in a much faster sale. And the beauty is - even though you can sell at a more competitive price, you'll still be putting more dollars in your own pocket.

It's a winning situation for both you and the buyer.

Next, you choose the fee that you'll pay the buyer's agent.

When you work with Flat Fee Realty and the buyer comes to us through our own marketing efforts, your flat fee is the total - so you (and possibly your buyer) reap the benefit of the entire savings.

When a buyer comes through another agency, the buyer's agent will expect to be paid. The industry standard has long been to split the percentage-based commission between the seller's agent and the buyer's agent - 2.5% of the final selling price to each.
